Product version or individual unit?
The product version records shared technical states. An individual unit refers to that version. An individual conversion receives its own modification record and a new documented state.
Documentation recorded – what does that mean?
Recorded means that a linked data record or file exists. The company must assess whether its content is sufficient, correct and applicable to the intended use.

A stable link can make selected information accessible. It neither confers official status nor replaces product marking or statutory information-provision obligations.
Conversion and manufacturer obligations
